The CPSE Center for Innovation (CPSE CFI) is recruiting members for its Editorial Committee. This is an opportunity to contribute your expertise to meaningful work that advances the fire and emergency services profession. If you’re passionate about research to practice, innovation, and making a real-world impact, we encourage you to apply.
About the Editorial Committee
The Editorial Committee supports the CPSE CFI by translating research into practice and advising the development and dissemination of materials related to CPSE CFI research, initiatives, and products. The committee will ensure that the work of the CPSE CFI remains at the forefront of the industry and identify opportunities for dissemination.
The committee serves in an advisory capacity and works in close collaboration with the CPSE CFI Research Committee to support the development and dissemination of CPSE CFI products.
What You Should Know About Applying
- Committee Composition: The committee is made up of seven members representing segments of the CPSE community, including members of accredited fire and emergency service agencies, credentialed professionals, and leaders of affiliated industry organizations.
- Term of Service: Members serve a maximum of two (2) years.
- Meetings: The committee meets virtually every other month (even numbered months) on the third Wednesday beginning February 2027.
