The CPSE Center for Innovation (CPSE CFI) is recruiting members for its Research Committee. This is an opportunity to contribute your expertise to meaningful research that advances the fire and emergency services profession. About the Research Committee
The Research Committee supports the CPSE CFI with exploratory research planning, execution, review, and dissemination. Committee members help shape research priorities, draft products, and provide recommendations that ensure the quality, relevance, and practical application of CPSE CFI research initiatives.
The committee serves in an advisory capacity and works in close collaboration with the CPSE CFI Editorial Committee to support the development and dissemination of CPSE CFI products.
What You Should Know About Applying
- Committee Composition: The committee is made up of seven members representing segments of the CPSE community, including members of accredited fire and emergency service agencies, researchers, and academics working in related disciplines.
- Term of Service: Members serve a maximum of two (2) years.
- Meetings: The committee meets virtually every other month (odd numbered months) on the first Tuesday beginning January 2027.
